BBQ @ Yawa's place II
BBQ @ Yawa's place & Swimming outing for the kids!
So tempting, the kids were havin' so much fun @ the pool. I couldn't resist it & joined them for Jacuzzi! Right, here's the joke of the day. With the help of Germ, we managed to forcefully pull the stretchable boot cut jeans to knee length. So I took pictures with the kids... & here's the consequence:
I couldn't change into my Bermudas cos the jean got stuck @ my fat leg. LOL! Look! five of them helped to pull it bk to the normal length! Image is a little shaky cos the person who took this was laughing so hard. There's quite a number of ex-colleagues who attended the BBQ, didn't post their pic on my blog, cos I don't if they like it or not & i'm too lazy to ask them for permission...
Swimming, playground, BBQ, majong session for some, chit chat in the kitchen... still so family-oriented.

Sun Moulin's strawberry shortcake: nice cream & almonds. It's average cos the strawberries are sour.
Germ said canelé serves better strawberry shortcake.
Marks & Spencer has new Blueberry puffs,
still prefer Redcurrent puffs.
Tried Ah Chew Dessert's honeydew sago & Red dates Hasima,
still prefer mango sago & pomelo.

About 15 mins walk along the Nature Trail (first photo).
Keep walking straight, turn left when you see the signboard. From then on, there's abt 3 signboards to go before reaching the park.
It's like a jungle.
I chose route 1 to explore the wetland, cos it's the shortest & fastest among the 3.
Didn't edit the third photo.
It's 1 of the 12 observation screens covered in Route 1.
About 5 metres away, shorebirds.
4 monitor lizards.
I'm watching "Animal Planet, Live".

singapore Art Museum
Singapore Art Museum.
Art studios, galleries, sculptures, installations, prints, paintings, Ceramics etc. From Chinese contemporary art to local work by Georgette Chen etc.
Everywhere is Art, even the floors.
Photography is not allowed, so the pictures are generally architecture, the floors, walls & corridors, ceilings etc.
Exhibition @ 8Q sam was based on the theme: School.
Missing Chalk & blackboard? I wrote "Band & Saxophone" on the blackboard.
Really long Bamboo sticks were joined up, it's like a little playground to me.
Felt the child-like excitement in me, when I was @ the corner, looking across the room.
Try not to refer to directory in the Museum, sometimes, I don't like it to be structured.
With an overdose of exploring & learning attitude, get amazed by the collections & the words.
Mark on my calendar: Japan Media Arts Fest 08! 22nd Nov. =)

Greetings/ranting
Happy Holiday!
didn't wake up this early, just to post a greeting.
My day @ home, leisure.
Housekeeping & afternoon radio.
Closed my day @ 3am, with a sketch of a doll.
Nightmare disturbed my sleep.
Earth changes, catastrophe.
Secured myself in a corner.
My bloody legs & blood-stained glasses everywhere.
Deep blue sea, no where to be seen.
Woke up, trying to catch my breath.
Checked & assured myself that it's a nice raining morning on a holiday.
didn't wake up this early, just to post a greeting.
