Yoga
My yoga master: "c'mon, continue, for that one cheesecake or pineapple tarts next week!"
"90 degrees, one... two... three... four...four...yes, doing good! four..."
Yes, besides photography,
It's yoga.

Natto
农历新年
Chinese New Year is around the corner. Mum needs more storage space in her freezer for frozen meat, seafood and stuff.
Mum: " Ah girl, you better clear the fridge."
That means I have to finish up all my natto by this week.
I always like the preparation of Chinese New Year- from Spring cleaning to shopping for 年貨 and new clothes.
I'm already in holiday mood!

old photos new member
Old photos, new member.
My Papa was clearing stuff from his cupboard, so he showed us some of his collection. He used to be an avid photographer. There are some amazing captures of Esther, Jane and me, that bring giggles and laughter to the family.
My Ah gong: The tall dark man with a ciggy.
My Nai Nai : the bespectacled lady next to him.
Durians from Malaysia, "plait" cookies, rice dumplings, hokkien prawn mee (they called it sotong mee) ... ...
They always knew my favorites.
Other than the 2 of them, I don't know the rest. I'm putting up the pictures, just to share.
Their clothing, hairstyle, tone and colors of photos... There is always something unique about the past.
Here's my new member.
I can't think of a nice and suitable name yet.
Btw, Huskie Tan Wan Wan has grown tremendously. She's getting heavier, in fact, overweight. Melon seed is the culprit. So, please moderate the melon seed consumption if you have a hamster.
I'll post a pic of Huskie soon.

Spring cleaning
Sunday afternoon, tidying up my room.
Spent quite a long time, cos I was reading some of those letters and cards.
- Wo bu yuan xiang qi zhuo tian.
My fave tuition teacher, gave me this Chinese Essay book. End of each lesson, he would read me at least one english or chinese essay. In fact, I hope I can see him again and thank him for those wonderful stories, nice books and dictionaries.
- Drawings from old sketch book
- My mum was quite amazed when she saw my treasures which were hidden in a big box.
Used to have those really nice ones that from fun fair or arcade redemption. This year I let go of one Charity bear.
- Slivergate Overture, music notes handwritten by Sir.
It's one of those first few pieces to master when I was a "Recruit".
- Drawings of me! The one with beehive head... it looks like skipping rope. It's done by Kalavanie Cindy Lye.
- Handwritings. oh, btw, chicken chop was my nickname during secondary school days.
